Rule the Aztec again. When Montezuma heard that whites had come to mexico in big ships with sails like white wings, he was not sure what to do. He though the Spaniards might be the ancient rulers of the Aztec. Montezuma waited . In the end, he decided to fight. The Aztec fought well, but it was too late.
Over the next fifteen years, Spanish conqurors took over rich empires in South America. From all these places, the Spanish sent gold and silver back to Spain . This made Spain the richest nation in Europe.
Spanish explorers were eager to find other rich native American Empire. So they traveled north from Mexico into what is now the United States.
Panfilo de Narvaez explored Florida in 1527. Afterwards, he sailed his ships along the Golf of Mexico. There, near what is now Galvenson, Texas.

Ketika suku Aztec di perintah Montezuma. Si Montezuma ini ketika mendengar kabar bahwa telah datang orang-orang kulit putih ke Mexico menggunakan perahu yang besar-besar, ia tidak mengetahui langkah apa ynag seharusnya ia lakukan. Montezuma hanya menjalankan politik menunggu. Pada akhirnya Montezuma memutuskan untuk memerangi Spanyol. Walaupun pasukan Aztec bertarung dengan baik namun semua telah terlambat.
Selama 15 tahun kedepan Sanyol dapat menaklukan kerajaan kaya di Amerika Selatan. Dari semua daerah koloninya itu, Spanyol dapat mengangkut emas dan perak ke negrinya. Karena hal ini membuat Spanyol menjadi negara terkaya di Eropa.
Spanyol masih menginginkan kerajaan asli Amerika ynag kaya. Maka dari itu mereka berangkat dari Mexico menuju daerah yang sekarang di kenal sebagai Amerika Serikat.
Tahun 1527, Panfilo de Narvaez menjelajahi Florida.
